History of the Manin Hotel Milan
The Manin Hotel is part of Milan history.
The origins of our four-star hotel extend back to the 19th century when newspapers reported on a house for rent in contrada della Cavalchina (now via Manin), near the Duomo and via Montenapoleone.
Since 1904, the Colombo family has managed the hotel, passing it through four generations, which means the Manin Hotel is one of the last high-level hotels in Milan under family management.
In August 1943, it was totally destroyed during a night air raid on Milan. Rebuilt in 1948, the hotel returned bigger, more beautiful and far more modern.
