HISTORY

The Manin is part of Milan history.
Its origin goes back to XIX century when some papers reported renting contracts for a house in contrada della Cavalchina ( now via Manin ).
Since 1904 the Colombo family has managed it, passing through four generations. An important added value comes from all of this: the Manin is one of the last high level hotels in Milan with family management.
In August 1943 it was totally destroyed during a night air raid on Milan.
Rebuilt in 1948, it came back bigger, beautiful and much more modern.
These life motives have been always carried on by the Colombos, in order to keep the hotel always at top level in hospitality and quality.
